[meteorite-list] Rite or wrong, is it a crater?

Sorry, no auger hole. We digged it out partly, thinking we could find a
meteorite but we reached
the hard packed road in just a couple of centimeters (I've added a
picture of that too)
As far as I know, no geological surveys have been done in the area for
at least 10 years
and I'm an amateur geologist living here so I would probably hear about
it if there were one.

Prospecting for minerals is done in the morain, not in the road since
you don't know where
that material is from. Usually they take 20 liters of morain for gold
level analyses and that is
the only thing people are looking for in the area.
The top layer of the road concists of a large amount of crushed stones
and isn't from the
local material. I've tried to find any fractured rocks and I have a few
suspected ones. If I
could pair up two pieces it would mean it was broken in the hole. The
only other marks
I've found is from my shovel when I digged it.

Thanks for the feedback, it is good for me to discuss theese things .
