Some years ago (2002?) when the question of
meteorite pronunciations came up, I started a page with French pronunciations:

         http://www.pibburns.com/catastro/metprono.htm

While I grew up speaking French, I would not
claim my pronunciation is the best. I don't
speak French anymore except when visiting relatives in France.

Someone else started up a page with the
pronunciations for Polish meteorites around that
same time. I don't recall who it was, but I found that page helpful.

Perhaps the IMCA should undertake a mini-project
to collect pronunciations from native speakers.
