Greetings list

I've been re-reading Dodd on heat sources in meteorites, and basicly, at the
time of writting, Alum-26 was the current answer. But I really have a
problem with a heat source that can melt ice, but not be abundant enough to
vaporize it like what would be needed to cause diffrenciation in small
bodies.

Is there a later thought, or have they just modified the quantities needed
and assumed present to fill the bill until newer data is presented?

Thanks in advance
Mark
