And there was nothing unfriendly about that reply. It is a quote from a very
funny classic movie-- and the very first thing I thought of when I read "I need
a short history...". The line said to that character before that monologue was
"Jacobs, I want to know absolutely everything that's happened up till now. " I
do believe that humor has occasionally been used on the list, such as IIRC a
recent exchange of people quoting song lyrics.
