Seems to halt the oxidization nicely!=20 Smaller Irons respond better than very large ones, probably because it takes time for the solution to penetrate. After a wire brushing it still=20 looks OK but plan on giving this one some TLC (or sodium hydroxide) if=20 you want to arrest its condition and make it a fully-functioning member=20 of your collection.
