For those who may not be aware of the latest:
        I awoke at a VERY atypical 6:45 AM to a HOT room - got up and closed
the bedroom window and went around the house to close the doors &
windows and turn off the fans which HAD BEEN blowing cool air through
the house. This is VERY unusual, as even on the hottest of days, it usually
stays cool until at least 7:30 AM.
        However, I noticed something strange in the sky as I was going
around and looked out to see the entire northern half of the sky a DARK,
dark cloud.... but not a cloud...this was clearly a HUGE fire in the north.
        I turned on the TV and, sure enough, there were multiple fires in
the LA back country areas.
        I went about my business, but as time has gone on, it started
"raining" ash and the sky had become very sci-fi movie looking....
        I checked the news again and fires had broken out ALL AROUND
San Diego and the LA fires had already raced this far!
        Now, what had been 6 homes destroyed at 6:45 AM has become
countless homes destroyed, hundreds more in eminent danger,
humongus numbers of areas have had REQUIRED evacuation, many
freeways and highways have been closed, everyone has been asked
to turn off all but one TV and use no electricity or water, as they are
needed to fight the fires.....
        I live IN San Diego, so it would have to become one of the greatest
national catastrophes on record to burn my home, but thousands are
being effected right now and many more are "on alert" and asked to have
all bags packed and ready to evacuate at a moment's notice.
        So, if you believe in God, your prayers would be appreciated. If you
don't, your holding an image of abatement of the fires and safety of
home and body in this part of the world would be appreciated.
        As I look out my office window it is SO strange to see huge snow
flake like ashes drifting down, a wind blowing and a truly eerie sky.....
