G'day Bob and List,

Thankyou to everyone who has written to me with compliments, updates and
corrections. ALL of them have certainly been appreciated and I am glad list
members have chosen to help me. None have been taken as criticism. Please
feel free to keep sending me any other contributions or corrections should
you find some. I have to say that putting together a list of 7000 meteorite
names can make you go cross-eyed! ;-) So it's great when someone else can
offer their assistance with something that I may have missed.

I'm going to look at reclassifications pretty simply and say, 'If a
meteorite has been reclassified by a recognized institution; why not update
to reflect that work?' The list is for any individual to use as a quick and
easy reference which I would like to make as accurate as possible. So I have
made the changes (before I got this email) which I believe is the best
thing. That's what the classification is, so that's where it goes! If it is
good enough for Alan Rubin and Bob; it's good enough for me.

I have added a couple more features to the list. Type Specimens have been
listed in Blue and I have added a Google search bar at the bottom of the
list. That way if you are looking for or find a specimen from a certain
classification, you can search the web staight from my page and not have to
go to a separate search engine site.

Hope you all enjoy the list and get as much use out of it as I have.

Thanks again,

Jeff Kuyken
