In my continuing efforts to improve my photography skills, I = experimented last night (most of the night) with a background technique = I discovered recently, as well as varying exposure values. Here are my = latest efforts: 1.5 gram thin slice of Zagami: http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/DSCF0153.JPG 200 gram Gao: http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/DSCF0154.JPG 16 gram Sikhote-Alin shrapnel (I like shrapnel): http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/DSCF0159.JPG 13.6 gram Sudbury imact melt material: http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/DSCF0174.JPG Not really a meteorite, but here I am with Rebekah high atop a Ferris = wheel a couple of days ago: http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/DSCF0045.JPG I cut open a Murchison recently and under the microscope, you can = actually see the amino acids forming proteins and assimilating into = strange alien life forms: http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/life.jpg Let me know what you think (of the meteorite photography, that is). If anyone wants to know how to make backgrounds like this, let me know. = It is actually very simple. -Walter ----------------------------------------------- Walter Branch, Ph.D. Branch Meteorites 322 Stephenson Ave., Suite B Savannah, GA 31405 USA www.branchmeteorites.com ------=_NextPart_000_0087_01C22EDA.3A7B42E0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2716.2200" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hello Everyone,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>First, thanks to everyone who purchased = meteorites=20 from me yesterday.
