I would be weary of even bidding on this person's = auctions in the future. If the item had received no bids, that would be = different (akin to pulling an item before the auction starts) but in = this case, it seems the seller deliberately avoided a loss. Another tactic you sometimes see on ebay is where a seller sets a hidden = reserve at a ridiculously high level, knowing full well that the reserve = will not be met. After the auction ends, the seller contacts the high = bidder(s) explaining that they "just fell under the reserve" and offers = the item to the bidders, thus avoiding the commission. Please note: I am not saying all sellers on ebay do this nor am I = pointing out anyone in particular. Just something to think about. BTW, if anyone needs a very nice slice of Zagami, I have a beautiful = 1.96 gram polished slice for sale. I am thinning out my collection. I = really don't want to post it on ebay (my way of avoiding the sellers = commission). It is only $300.00/gram. It even has some fusion crust = along one side. The price is $588.00 and I will pay for shipping.
