Hello All List Members,

Anne Black, Bill Jensen and I are very proud to announce the result of our=20
collaboration:
=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 A Brand New Book About Meteorites.

The best way to describe it is probably to quote the Foreword:
=A0 =A0 "It started as an idle conversation while soaking up the sun of Tucs=
on in=20
early February 2000. We had gone through most of the Show and seen hundreds=20
of meteorites, some well known and some nearly unknown, and we were wishing=20
aloud for some form of reference material to help our flagging memories. Our=
=20
copies of the Catalogue of Meteorites were way too valuable and heavy to tak=
e=20
on the road. Since I also collect minerals I had a copy of the Glossary of=20
Mineral Species and wished I could find something as easy to carry around an=
d=20
thumb through on the fly."
=A0 =A0 "Then Mike mentioned that he had about 1000 meteorites in a database=
 in=20
his computer at home."
=A0 =A0 "The rest, as they say, is history.......=A0=A0 "

And the result is the book we are presenting to you today.
