Just in from Denmark on the Dec. 9 Greenland bolide... Joel

We have processed all of our data and inspected it carefully. Very beautifull
data - but no signs of anything unusual. This was not to be expected either
since the latest eyewitness reports talk about atmospheric breakup. We are
-at best - looking for a number of small fragments buried under a couple of
meters of snow. Too bad - I doubt that it will be possible to locate it.
There is some interest in making an expedition into the area next summer but
dont expect them to carry loads of meteorites out of there!
