Meteorites are not of this Earth and should not be deemed sovereign property. If the Moroccan government wants specimens for its museums, they can buy them on the open market or employ people to go hunting for them. If they close the markets and the nomads starve, what will the government officials say, "Let them eat sand"? I say finders keepers and support the nomads who can make a living from hunting and selling meteorites.
