Ladies and Gentlemen,

I know this is going to sound cynical and pessimistic, but the truth is the truth. NO member of the media who contacts you has your interest, or the activity you engage in at heart. They care less, about you and what effect their writings may have on you, or your future activities. It's all about them and how much recognition and approval they can get by delivering a sensational story, even if they have to manipulate you into making innocent statements and then edit your comments. My advice is that unless your a pro at giving press briefings, interviews and distributing talking points. Don't walk, but run to the nearest exit.

Can anyone argue that we are better off as a result of three years hyping the rarity and value of meteorites on cable TV and in the nation's print media?
