Hi all!

I was wondering what folks think of INAA testing of meteorites???

As I read up on such testing, many questions come to mind. The main
questions is this;
Does INAA testing truly give an accurate representation of a meteorite, when
the test samples are so small?
In other words, if you have a 50 gram specimen, the test sample will only be
something in the order of 0.1 to 0.5g.
Knowing that and looking at the make up of irons, I tend to think that much
could and would be missed.

Appreciate your thoughts!

Jim
