As Jim mentioned it can be a bit boring so what I do is keep my receiver and headphones next to my cot before going to sleep. I set an alarm for 4am so that I can slip on the headphones and turn on the radio. Then I just listen for an hour or two before getting out of my sleeping bag and starting the day - works great! (very early morning seems to be the best time to listen out here) Here's a good resource for natural VLF listening (this guy makes the radio that I use): http://www.auroralchorus.com/ Best Regards, Art On Tue, May 17, 2011 at 12:41 PM, Jim Wooddell <jimwooddell at gmail.com> wrote: > Mike, > > I do from time to time. ?You can do this on-line if you do not have > the gear to do it. > Last time I listened, I heard 7 meteors in about a 6 hour time frame. > I tend to get bored with it after a while, but it's real interesting. > Go here for a listen: ?http://www.spaceweatherradio.com/ > > You can read up on meteor scatter communications just searching around the web. > > Cheers! > > Jim Wooddell > > > > On Tue, May 17, 2011 at 9:05 AM, Mike Groetz <mpg4444 at gmail.com> wrote: >> Hello- >> ? ?
