I'd dug through my old textbooks and found a copy of Glasstone and Sesonske's "Nuclear Reactor Engineering" (1963, 2nd Ed.) When I was a grad student, I couldn't work the intro reactor class into my schedule, but found a copy of the text, used, for $2.00 in a bookstore up the street. I would send you off to Amazon if you were interested in reading up on reactors, but they want $420 for the 2-vol. 1994 edition. Seems knowledge ain't cheap... Sterling K.
