Guys and Girls,

The list would (..and hopefully will) continue to remain a much calmer and peaceful environment, provided that politics and religion, or another persons health or legal issues, aren't discussed or even mentioned without said persons consent to do so. Specifically, in regards to politics, for the life of me, I do not understand why some list members feel the need to voice their opinions regarding such on a list that is specifically intended to discuss METEORITES, and all the nifty things that are associated with them. People have, and always will, carry strong views and beliefs, and it is best to keep those things off of this forum.

As long as we don't sway from that one thing that each of us holds dear to our hearts, there will be no problems.

With that said, I think Mike deserves a second chance. Just because you get thrown out of the bar once doesn't mean that you're banned for life. Come back!... One year!! (For you Seinfeld fans ; )

While I am in favor of Mike reporting to the list again about his most recent adventure (..well, I am just curious about that personal story, I must admit..), I am also inclined to generally recommend very moderate and polite future postings here regarding this special issue, please.

This list acts internationally, and is surely monitored by a great variety of readers from all fields. As long as we keep it polite, rational, and argumentative, and in an overall reasonable fundamental tone, it will be good for all in a situation, where we are faced with a certain trend of national law enforcements which probably would not advance the long term evolution of meteoritics in a positive sense, would that be any different.
