I just received this from Martin Zinn. Beware....

WARNING - FRAUD ALERT!

TO: Arizona Mineral & Fossil Show Dealers
FROM: The AMFS Staff

You may have received a similar message from us last week, referring
to the Colorado show, but we now have learned that the scams are
hitting Tucson dealers as well. Companies are getting dealer names
from directories and the website, and using them to attempt to sell to
you.

SCAM #1 - You receive a call or email from a company implying that
they are calling from the hotel, and inform you that there has been a
rate change, or that you don't have a sleeping room reservation, and
they offer to book your room. If you provide the credit card that
they request, they bill for your stay immediately. Only problem is,
they have no connection with the hotel or show. They take your money,
and you may not get any room reserved, or at least not where you want
it to be.
Reservations at the Hotel Tucson City Center may be made ONLY through
Martin Zinn Expositions. We have blocked the entire hotel.
Reservations at Quality Inn may be made through us or directly with
the hotel, and at Ramada Ltd. are made through the hotel. Do not
provide information to any outside agency!

SCAM #2 - You get a letter from a company called EXPO-GUIDE, that asks
you to confirm your free listing information. Read carefully, and you
will see that your free information can only be changed online. If
you fill out page 2 of the form, you agree, according to the last
paragraph on the page, to an advertising program that costs 1271 Euros
per year for the next three years!

Don't sign anything without reading it first. Our official show
directory is produced by XPoPress from Denver, Colorado, and they will
contact you for advertising in the AMFS Directory and the Tucson EZ
Guide. Be careful about any other company offering listings.
