Looks like Phil went from being a skeptic to a believer just by trying it out. Dowsing does not work for everyone. A mine lab detector doesnt always work in highly mineralised ground either. The million dollar test requires trying to find over 75%non conductive or inductive materials. Sounds like the witch hunts of days gone by. Load the witch down with a bag of rocks and if the witch dont float its a witch. If the dowser cant find a barrel of gasoline in a plastic barrel then dowsing dont work. I think if a person spent the time to learn dowsing they could find iron meteorites. But the electronics of metal detectors is ooh so much easier.
