There was a hint of something sulphurous but more kind of a organic swampy smell. Then for some reason a scent of new-mown hay popped into my mind. We came about 10 minutes after the meteorite had been pulled out the shallow hole it had created. Murray took a picture and I took down the GPS coordinates.
