[meteorite-list] re the double standards

Jim,

This is a public and permanent forum. The Met-List archives are public
online where millions of people can see them.

Posting your opinion is one thing... Go for it, call me an ass, jerk,
dork, nerd, computer geek, egotistical, pompous, harsh, call me names,
yell at me. I don't care. That's your opinion... But, posting publicly,
a statement meant to hurt or harm simply because you don't like emails
from me is the epitome of laziness (remove yourself), contempt, and
disrespect.

Accusing me of spamming my own private "opt in" list is laughable... ;)
It's not called spam when you opt-in... Sign up on ANY large website or
for any popular product or blog, you will receive daily emails.

Domino's Pizza will send you daily emails too... ;) I like Pizza... It's
yummy.

I'm assuming since you said "...If you've gone to Eric's website and
entered your email address..." that you in fact have done this...

If you didn't want emails you shouldn't have "entered your email
address", and you're more than welcome to remove yourself at anytime Jim...

Besides that, *everyone* that joins has the ability to remove themselves
or request to be removed at ANY time. So, what's the problem? What's
your gripe? I see no issue at all other than a petty and weak attempt to
slam me publicly. You saw an opportunity to do so and you jumped on it.

I hope you publicly retract that statement.
