Very interesting Adam,

I agree that the availabilty of serialized coins containing and commemorating historical meteorites opened a new realm of collecting. I see it answering all the problems a lay collector would have regarding authenticity, rarity, ease of presentation, preservation and storage...not to mention marketability and a dependable value. Besides their fun to look at.

How far did this issuing of collectible meteorite medallions go? Is there a selection, or did you just do one edition? I would think that those who like to collect, not only meteorite examples, but commemorative coins in themselves, would make up a large market.

In anticipation of howls from some Listees about the destruction of meteorites and the absence of holding samples only for the science...save it.
