This is very sad news.

I once had the pleasure to meet Christian in Vienna, along with other meteorite collector friends from Austria, for a visit of the great museum of natural history there, and I met and talked to him several times at the Ensisheim and Munich shows. He was a warm-hearted, very friendly man and an avid, knowledgable collector with a very big passion for our hobby. We will truly miss him! RIP, Christian!
