Joe,
You don't need to apologize to anyone. Most of us understand that
when you're raising a family and paying the bills, they become your
number one priority. There are a lot of things more important than
meteorites. Maybe the folks that think you should have kept your
(main mass) stone intact should have stepped up sooner and offered to
buy it themselves.

And...congratulations...what a rush!
