The stones that I have are all paired to Sahara 98222 with Ringwoodite and many were marked with sequential numbers by the Labennes. I purchased the remaining stock that the Labennes had at the Tokyo Show in 1999 or 2000. If anyone is interested please contact me off list. It sparks my interest and gets my other brain cell working :) You mentioned Sahara 98222 L6 Breccia Ringwoodite, in my research I came up with this, but it doesn't correspond with anything on the Met Bull. It is the 3rd chart down about mid-way, it mentions Sahara 98234 L6 Ringwoodite??? http://www.meteorlab.com/METEORLAB2001dev/tsections.htm Cheers John ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mr EMan" <mstreman53 at yahoo.com> To: <meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com>; <drtanuki at yahoo.com> Sent: Friday, January 23, 2009 12:41 AM Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Ringwoodite in Sahara 98222 L6 breccia > Yeppers! that rings a very strong bell. Thanks Dirk for running it down. I recall it had mixed lithologies with red and gray zones crossed by purple tinged ringwoodite veins. > > Elton > > --- On Wed, 1/21/09, drtanuki <drtanuki at yahoo.com> wrote: >> Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Ringwoodite in Sahara 98222 L6 breccia > >> Hello, I found my records: >> Sahara 98222 find L6 breccia with Ringwoodite in shock >> veins. >> >> dirk ross...tokyo.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list > ______________________________________________ > http://www.meteoritecentral.com > Meteorite-list mailing list > Meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com > http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list Received on Sat 24 Jan 2009 01:48:35 AM PST |
