Weld County, Colorado, U.S.A. Fell 1931, May 10, 1715 hrs Pseudometeorite.. A copper nugget weighing 29.457g is reported to have been observed to fall. This copper "meteorite" is discredited, It contains 33% Zn, small Pb inclusions and less than 0.1% Ni. It is similar to yellow brass, and distinct from native terrestrial copper and meteoritic copper, the latter having 0.4% to 2.4% Ni. Sounds like a bushing to me... Sterling K.
