Too mnay objects running around.

1 AU = 149,600,000 km

Comet Holmes = 1.6345 AU from earth this evening
(in two days it will be down to 1.630 AU, better duck)

This gives a distance of 244,500,000 km

Speed of light is 299,800 km/sec

So Light Distance = 816 seconds (give or take)
