the prologue of its book "Queretanas Legend", the
following thing:
To the Quer?taro that still it yearns for to dream:
It will emerge, here and now, the dream,
because Perhaps we spoke something true here, life
giver?
No, since we spoke of legend, about that we only
dreamed, only we rose of the dream.
The legend always is like a dream
for that reason, nobody speech here really...

 and a little advanced more:

Is totally false the dream?
No, if the dream is not truth, a minimum dose really
sublies in him.
For that reason in the legend, that is communal dream,
there is no truth, but there is no total either
falsification; some minimum dose really sublies in the
dream of the legend.
In opposition to the Fantaciencia that today is
fantasy and tomorrow can be truth, the dream of the
legend, is today fantasy and it could yesterday be
truth.
It could be truth, but nobody really absolute speech
in the legend.
That is the beautiful thing of the dream of the

THE HOLE OF THE DEVIL
(the Cell of Satan)
 
 
Long ago, in the Convent of San Francisco, (today
Regional Museum) they remained the seminaristas young
people who studied to be priests, among them was one
was of most outstanding. A morning, when all to mass
went, this young person felt that somebody watched it,
 when turning around saw that she was a gorgeous and
young woman, but since it had decided to give its life
to God, it could not think about any woman, so it
decided to forget her and to say afternoon during
everything, to forget it.
On the following day when they went to mass, the boy
felt that penetrating glance again, was the same girl,
so, when finishing the mass, went with its confesor to
request aid, who said to him that he was the demon,
who tried to move away it of God. By such reason the
young seminarista decided not to go to mass on the
following day and to remain to say in its cell. In the
evening their companions already decided to go to see
it and this he said to them that everything was well,
but at night, when being saying the boy, suddenly it
heard noises and when turning around to the wall it
saw the silhouette of the girl who came off itself the
wall little by little, later to go away turning a
species of mixed beast and man. The seminarista said
and said and their companions when occurring account
tried to open the door but they realized of which
totally he was blocked. Then all of them began to say
in very high voice, until finally a tremendous
explosion occurred, that impelled the beast to leave
by the ceiling.
Thanks to his faith, the demon had been defeated once
again and when leaving the cell he left an enormous
hole in the ceiling.
To that hole now we called " the HOLE to him Of the
DEVIL"

This legend was narrated to him to Marisa by the Miss
Irma Tamayo and is a condensed version of the legend
"the Cell of Satan" that narrated Don to him Germa'n
Pati?o to the writer and lawyer Don Jose Guadalupe
Ramirez Alvarez and that appears published in the page
41 of its book "Legend of Quer?taro".
