If someone advertises 100% crust, then it should have 100% crust!

This is one of my pet peeves when I buy from people. 85% or 90% are
estimates, and that is fine, but 100% is not an estimate!

Kind regards,
?

Subject: [meteorite-list] A question about crust.

List members,
I notice that some sellers list a meteorite as 100%
crusted if it apparently had 100% crust during flight
but now has several chips of crust missing. My
feeling has always been that 100% crust should signify
that it is totally crusted with none missing. Can we
get a consensus of what constitutes 100% crust?
Thanks,
Thomas
