Note here that Ensisehim ends Sunday night (June 17) and Ste Marie starts very early next week (officially on Wednesday, non-officially, before....). Camper is the real tip, especially if you want to go to Ste Marie the following week, where hotels are basically fully booked at that period of the year, unless you move at least 20-30 km further in the country. Concerning hotels in Enssiehim, while "La Couronne" is now fully booked, the brand new one ("Domaine du Moulin", see circular) located right next to the square, still has free rooms. It is a 4 star hotel, at least equivalent to "La Couronne", at least in price: Around 72 euro a single room breakfast included, 78 for double bed. Note that the nearby "Niemerich" (5 km distant) offers rooms for 46 euro/2 persons. Regarding socalizing in Ensisheim ( = having a lot of fun all together), the dinner-party is maintained at "La Couronne" on Friday night (June 15). Reservation highly recommended (we are right now more than 70....). Another dinner is planned, as in the past, on the main square, in front of the Regency Palace, on Saturday night (followed by music, dancing and perhaps some beer or wine for those who really hate water...). We had struggled hard to maintain the wild boar. However, this time, it will be prepared by the (excellent) cook of "La Couronne" and served "in another style". And Dean, yes, definitely, I'll take care to save the tongue for your best appreciation. Especially if you can show up with your wife Dean, if you have in your carry-ons (hm!) the 900+ kg morroccan stuff, I still have some table for you... Shipping stuff from Enssiheim: yest, the best tip so far is Dean's proposal. But if you wish to ship some parcels to Ensisehim befroe the show, contact me for arrangements. If not too heavy (as it happened last year with ouyr Russian freinds - oh, my poor back!), you can ship to me. But write first. Great day to all, Zelimir A 15:00 21/04/2007 -0700, dean bessey a ?crit : > > Hi, > > Just investigating going to Ensisheim this year and > > wondered if anyone > > had any extra tips, recommendations, timetables of > > events, must sees etc > > that would help a first timer...in addition to the > > info below. > > >Me and my meteorite mom (MARILYNSOFFERINGS on ebay) >have a european vacation planned and will most likely >be at Ensisheim (And St Marie a week later).
