Hi Paul, all -

Thanks Paul. This is much better than hysterical
biased smears of Hibben's observations.

The problem that I have with all of these papers is
that there are no clear statements in any of them as
to what hit, whether it was a comet or an asteroid.
Undoubtedly this reflects the state of the art, but it
must to some extent reflect on Morrison's contention
with Clube and Napier, and Morrison's effects on
funding and publication.

Obviously, determining what has hit has important
consequences in terms of how one arranges planetary
defense.
