Perhaps from a mill or a factory that makes glass and glass products. They could also be iron from slag. I have a piece of slag that consists of a grayish glass like substance with perfectly round pieces of iron in it. I got it years ago at a rock shop. I don?t understand why he calls then magnetite (perhaps some stick to a magnet). I looked at it again ? I think by products from some sort of glass producing factory. If they got into a stream, they could travel a long distance. I don't think a rough piece of material would become this round by being in a stream - I would say they were that way before they got there. They look interesting ? guess it will cost you $7.00 + shipping to see them. Greg S. Would sand actually round and polish itself this well in a stream bed? I believe this is not meteorite related- but what really is this material?
