Did you contact any buyers from this same material you offered on eBay about 6 months ago to make correct those as well? If you had any customers, please let them all know if you have not already. Several months ago I tried to address your meteorite.com ad quietly by writing to the kind sponsors of that site regarding and nothing happened although they promised to investigate. I was sure you'd be contacted and it would be removed and I was disappointed nothing happened. I will stop wondering why nothing happened for several months and chalk it up to an oversight - now that you've kindly and responsibly removed it. In Mexico we deal with oversights every day when shopping in corner stores and the like and we become jaded. There is a pattern. The onus for correction is always on the buyer to say they've been shortchanged, bought something that is less than it is claimed to be, etc., and to ask for resolution, which many people simply are too timid or lacking self-confidence to do. For some reason it never happens that we get extra change when making a purchase, or we don't get gold when paying for silver (which we would give back of course). So if someone does the same thing twice my policy is to kindly blacklist them and tell all of my friends in confidence to do the same. Thanks to Art for the opportunity toair the autumn laundry. Now this leaves Steve alone, who I hope will follow suite so I can get off the GEIDAM crusading pulpit. I am not suggesting anything bad about inattention or mistakes on Matteo's part, please my respect only goes to him for cleaning up. I am suggesting it is not worth anyone's while to ever be involved in transactions that could be perceived reasonably as questionable. That's the motivation to remember you have a fake meteorite up for sale on the major independent commercial meteorite site and need to pull it before the next Christmas. PS Matteo, I hope that the "fake Geidam" meteorite we received is something else even better, as I have at least 100grams of it and am waiting to hear back to make my decision as the kind principal dealer offered. There is really no need to pass a "gato por liebre" (how do you say that in English?, I forgot). It is some other meteorite just as nice to own. Good luck Matteo, too. If anyone has real specimens from the GEIDAM locality, please let me know, even if it isn't for sale, I'd love to have the pleasure of a consolation photo.
