[meteorite-list] Monning number?

How does one identify a "Monning" number on their meteorite? I, too, have a
La Lande that I recently bought at an auction. It came with a very old
Ward's Scientific card. The number is hand-written in black ink over white
paint or whiteout. Sorry: no picture.
