Hello list,

I would like to write some additions to our Norway report to avoid
misunderstandings. I`m sorry for this, but it seems necessary. Mr. Martinsen
(the finder of the first meteorite) had asked us on Sunday, 23th to inform
other searching teams that it is NOT ALLOWED to enter his garden without
permission. His neighbours had informed him that foreign people were in his
garden. Mr. Martinsen's garden is to be recognized unmistakable as a private
area because many personal belongings are there, like canvas chairs and
various gardening tools. I want to say that we don't belong to any
"meteorite police" but we simply offer our help to the garden owner after
his inquiry because we wanted to avoid that the finding site will be closed
for the future for other visitors. Mr. Martinsen was so kind to show really
to all collectors the finding place and the famous metal plate with the
impact dint. But we all should respect his private sphere.

Marcin, it is no joy for me to write this, but you are wrong with your view
of the things. You had written in your email that you have gone to Mr.
Martinsens garden and have removed meteorite samples without permission
because you had no time to ask for a permission. You have also written that
you had spoken long with Mr. Martinsen and I think that you had in the
conversation a good opportunity to ask for a permission. It is a simple fact
that Mr. Martinsen's garden and everything what is located there is his
personal property, and nobody has a right to remove something there.

If you try to call our reputation into question, then I ask you to write
your accusations in clear words.

Best wishes,
