Good Morning List Members,
Thanks to all who took time to enter the contest as
well as those who made comments from the sidelines. I
hope those who entered thought it was fun, and even if
it was easy with google, that they learned a little
something. One notable person who responded commented
that he has a copy of the poem on his office door!
There were respondents from several countries and most
of the questions were answered correctly by most
respondents. The first person to answer all of the
questions correctly was Johnny (Last name not given).
I am awaiting his mailing instructions for the Wagon
Mound partslice. The answers are:

1. What is the name of the poem? THE METEORITE
2. Name the author of the poem. C. S. Lewis or Clive
Staples Lewis. (His nickname was Jack.)
3. Which of this author's books uses this poem as an
introduction? MIRACLES (It's in his book of Poems
but not as an introcuction.)
4. Name two other books this author wrote. (I will
list only a few of the many possible choices.) The
Pilgrim's Regress; The Screwtape Letters; Perelandra;
The Great Divorce; Out of the Silent Planet; The
Problem of Pain; A Grief Observed; Mere Christianity;
The Four Loves; The Abolition of Man; Prince Caspian;
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader; The Silver Chair; The
Horse and His Boy; The Magicians Nephew and The Last
Battle. (These last six are the others in the
Chronicles of Narnia series.)
5. What current movie was based on this author's
writings?
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The
Wardrobe.
