I have always had an interest in astronomy and geology. Meteorites seem to wed the two, so it seems only natural to be interested in them. I will post a longer introduction at some point soon! Yes, there are, indeed, ladies here. I am one of them. One time, I introduced myself, but somehow, it never got posted, so I will do so again now. I am a new meteorite collector/hunter. New, new, new. Until just recently, I didn't even know what a pallasite was, and I have a LONG way to go. I'll get there, though. I think Michael Blood does an excellent job with the meteorite of the day, and many others with their informative posts, as well. Thanks to all of you! Suzi Welcome to the List! I am glad there are more women joining. And getting interested by meteorites. One correction: Michael Johnson publishes the Meteorite of the Day. Michael Blood has a website with pictures of all those characters. http://www.michaelbloodmeteorites.com/MeteoriteFriends.html And you have probably already discovered the Meteorite Exchange with lots of links, the MeteoriteTimes magazine, and more information.
