Hello Bill and List,
Some of you might not know Bill Southern since he is relatively new to the
Meteorite List. I know him personally. He's a really great guy and is one
of the most accommodating and selfless people I know. Take note of what
he's saying - I know he had to twist his own arm quite hard to speak up on
this issue.

Maybe those of you that shake your finger at the "naysayers" need to take a
look at this Steve issue from a different angle.

There are many of us within the meteorite community who think it is our
responsibility, in part, to make sure the public is dealt with fairly and
honestly and that is one of the reasons Steve Arnold is scrutinized the way
he is. I find it hard to believe that those of you that openly support
Steve because he gave you a freebie or he acts like a generous benefactor
refuse to look at his other activities without your rose colored glasses.

Sure, there are some things about Steve that make him a likeable guy to
some people, but I know many others who have had negative dealings with him
and their voices have a right to be heard too.

Finally, I don't think any of you "anti-naysayer" have the right to censor
those who speak out about wrong doing or excessive self promotion by a
list member. Do you condone the deceit and dishonesty?

Feel free to comment,

JKGwilliam
