Speaking of meteorwrongs, here's one:

This is a slice of a find in Canada. A magnet attracts it*,
it's heavy, the surface is shiny metallic, and there is even sort-of-a
fusion crust visible at the bottom. I know what it is, and
it's not a meteorite. Any guesses?

* P. S. The word "magnetic" can mean "possesses a magnetic field"
or "is attracted by a magnet". Is there an easy way to
distinguish between these two?
