All were from an old collection, and had the original "Ward Scientific" yellowed catalog labels. One was a Willamete, Oregon piece, approximately 32 grams. It sold for $56.00. I have never seen this one for sale. Did I make a mistake by not bidding higher and securing the piece? It wasn't much to look at, but I thought given its history, I probably should have bid more. The other was a beautiful, thick slice (complete?)of Plainsville, TX. It showed many different sized condrules and flecks of metal. It was around 40 grams and sold for $71.00. Please tell me I didn't just make the biggest mistake of my life by letting both go! The good news is I bought a faceted amber necklace (that had an old price tag of $420) for $48.00. Maybe I should shut up and be happy? Anita Received on Sun 19 Jun 2005 07:06:03 PM PDT |
