Do you mean illegal as in against the rules at Ebay, or illegal as in an illegal collecting area?
The Ebay part, I don't know. But the collecting in the Arctic part would depend on the laws in the
nation in who's Arctic area he wants to collect. You aren't thinking of Antarctica, are you? He
couldn't collect them legally in Antarctica. But he didn't say Antarctica, he said the Arctic.
Which doesn't have the same meteorite concentrating mechanisms as Antarctica, so it would be a
stupid expedition. But I'm sure that it's a scam, anyway.
