I've been on the list almost half a year now and in the beginning it was a bit sad to see the fights, but after a couple of months I realised that it wasn't going to get better. The only way to cope is to use the delete button or leave the list. Since I didn't want to leave the list I got quite good at the delete... This list contains too much good things for me to leave. Help with contacting meteorite people, news about new falls, reports from the field, anouncements about new websites, interesting scientific discussions, and a lot of other stuff that pops up now and then. The one regular feature I always liked was the "Pic of the day". It usually appeared in the morning and was a perfect start of the day. It's popularity was quite obvious each time I got the message "Bandwidth quota exceeded, please try later." I have missed the daily picture since it went away but I thought it was only a well deserved holiday rest. Now I'm ashamed that I haven't said anything about it before, I got used to it to always be there. Hey, Michael, thanks for all the work, I really appreciated it and wathever happens in the future I'm grateful for the pictures you presented. I always planned to send some pictures but... wait I will do it. I got one that I took on a fair this summer. If I only could learn how to get good pictures on my own meteorites I would contribute with a few other pictures. I'm getting better but a good picture isn't easy to get.
