Dear Dean,

Talk to NAU about having to send out thin-sections for refinishing you sold
to make them work in their microprobe. I tried to cut my own thin-sections
and found it was a very difficult and time consuming process so decided
against marketing them so I have nothing to gain by making this up. It is
also very difficult to keep the quality consistent without calibration
crystals that professional labs use. Just look at some of the thin-sections
you have for sale and you will see most are too thick, others are uneven and
some are ground down to the glass. I am only repeating what I have been
told by two NomCom approved laboratories with scientists with decades of
experience. If you want names of these scientists I would be happy to
provide them to you off-List.

All the best,

Adam
