Anyone seen the latest 'Meteorite' magazine?, centre feature on
Terrestrial look-alikes, there is a nice photo of a volcanic ash
deposit, and spherical inclusions just like the ones in the mars photo!.
Apparently volcanic ash can combine with water/vapor and turn into a
ball. I wonder if the mars layered rock is going to turn out to be
volcanic ash! I guess time will tell.
