Ignoring for the moment that 137 grams is not 4.5 ounces, that would still have to be one small grapefruit. They chose the word "grapefruit", not orange, so clearly they meant a stone larger than an orange. But even if we choose a "dwarf" grapefruit diameter of 6 cm, the volume would be 113 cm^3, giving a specific gravity of ~1.2.
