[meteorite-list] Hollow meteorites?

Date: Sun Apr 25 15:51:16 2004 Message-ID: <BCB16342.8B46%mlblood_at_cox.net> Hi Chris & All, I have a hollow meteorite and wrote about it in both METEORITE MAGAZINE (Brief "in the news" or a "letter to the editor") and a full length article in VOYAGE! It was definitely, in my opinion, a case of weathering, with the inner core being more subject to corrosion than the outer core. Still, it was visually stunning and I treasure it as one of my top 10 pieces in my collection (for that reason). I will see if I can find the old JPGs and set up a URL IF list members are interested. - Let me know.
