H. Nininger, curator of meteorites for the Co= lorado Museum of Natural history, said a large daylight meteor, which he = characterized as "extremely rare" was reported seen north of Denver this = afternoon. Nininger said E. C. Reybold told him he saw the meteor as it apparently d= escended vertically. "The meteor probably could be seen in central Wyoming." Nininger said, "a= nd the meteorite may have landed somewhere in that vicinity."
