It was recovered by B. A. Skiff at Lowell Observatory-LONEOS shortly after midnight last night (early this morning), and rapidly placed on the NEO Confirmation Page by Timothy Spahr in time for J. Young to make follow-up observations from Table Mountain near Wrightwood, CA, before dawn this morning. (Table Mountain is a great weekend camping location for those in the L.A. area). With this set of measurements spanning 5 hours, Spahr was able to link the object with a one-night-stand (ONS) observation by Haleakala-NEAT on October 5th, extending the arc to 10 days. It was then that Spahr recognized the resulting orbit as being a match to 1937 UB (Hermes)! Additional matching ONS observations by LONEOS and Lincoln Laboratory ETS (New Mexico) were later identified back to August 26th.
