Hi Bob,

Maybe not a great meteor-wrong. Don't know how rigorous the collecting
proceedures were in 1979. Maybe the team had been out collecting all day
and were in a hurry to get back to camp and just bagged it, or bad weather
came up and they could only a quick pick up. Or could be that the collecting
team sent a "surprise" package back to the lab as a joke. Speaking from
experience doing geologic fieldwork, it's been known to happen, especially
after you've been out for a month or so ;-)
Would be nice to see an image though.
