This specimen must be one GREAT meteor-wrong! ;-) Sure would like to see an image of this "bad boy". But this raises another question regarding the current "contest". Larry supplied a detailed disclaimer should any of his meteor-wrongs end up being properly identified as a meteorite. But what if the opposite should happen? What if one of his "meteorites" becomes a meteor-wrong?! :-) Regards, Bob V. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- [meteorite-list] Question fcressy fcressy_at_prodigy.net Tue, 20 May 2003 12:54:14 -0700 Hi Steven, I'm guessing it was given a collection number in the Antarctic and later found to be terrestrial. They had to account for the number in the catalog. Just my best guess, Frank ----- Original Message ----- From: S.
